Once again, an excellent piece on the war. There is one issue that I would be interested in hearing your views on, which is the issue of South Africa's co-operation with Iran and its wider ramifications. There have been discussions about South Africa and Iran having military and nuclear ties, and the ANC's accusations of genocide were likely motivated just as much by their ideological priors as it was by the likely Iranian injections of cash that have helped keep the ANC alive. What do you think should be done about South Africa and what do you think likely will be done? Personally, I would like the ANC to be internationally condemned and for sanctions to be placed upon South Africa, both due to its support of Iran and because of its numerous anti-White racist policies.

Thank you. I definitely think the ANC's conduct is rooted in its long-standing ideology rather than any material benefits from Iran. As to what can be done about it, it's a difficult one to approach significantly because a saintly aura has been cast around the ANC in the West, especially on the Left. If it was Trump who initiated actions against the ANC regime it would almost certainly backfire over the medium term: he will be gone quite soon, many things he has done and supported in general will be discredited by association, and anti-ANC measures would almost certainly be cast as "racism", etc.

A successful reorientation would probably require European governments to lead, which probably means there is no hope. If it was going to happen, at first it would require at least altering their private assessments of whether the ANC is in the allied camp, and then incremental public steps. Things as minor as honest official travel advice about how dangerous South Africa is and the official racialism that can cause trouble for white foreigners would be a start.

But an overt policy of isolating the ANC regime seems really unlikely, to be honest, and if any such course was set, it's dubious how much the West could or would do in trying to build up a democratic alternative. For one thing, if the present one-party system becomes unsustainable through the Venezuela-type set-up of reasonably free but unfair elections, the ANC would surely go the Full Maduro route instead of surrendering power. Would we then intervene? Seriously doubt it.
